A cartoonist, animator, and writer of comics and films, Gibney is also the Director of Graphics & Animation for Jigsaw Productions, an award winning documentary production company in New York City.

Gibney's animation has been featured in several festivals in the United States, including South by Southwest, Boston Underground Film Festival, Black Maria Film Festival (winning Jury's Choice Award for his film Matilda & Joe), and the NYC Downtown Short Film Festival (winning Best Animation Award for his film Coyotes).  Gibney's first comic book KOLTAR is available for purchase online and in stores around New Jersey

His work as Director of Graphics and Animation at Jigsaw Productions has also been featured in a number of award winning projects like the documentary films Rolling Stone: Stories from the Edge, No Stone Unturned, ElÍan, Steve Jobs: Man in the Machine and Zero Days, as well as his behind-the-scenes storyboard work on documentaries like Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief, Gonzo: The Life and Work of Hunter S.
